individual somatic trauma therapy

Imagine a therapeutic approach where your body's wisdom guides the way, and your internal world finds harmony. I offer a blend of somatic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

In somatic therapy, we believe that the body holds vital clues to our emotions and past experiences. Through gentle exploration and awareness of bodily sensations, we can unravel deeply held tensions and traumas.

We delve into the intricate dynamics of your internal family — the different parts of yourself with their own needs, fears, and desires. With compassion and curiosity, we work toward understanding these parts, fostering connection, and restoring balance within.

Nature attunement walks

Staying close to nature can have profound impacts on your nervous system. My practice is currently entirely online except for this offering.

Please join me on an individual therapy session in a local nature preserve or walking path where we will connect with you, your surroundings, and the incredible healing capacity of the natural world.

“I have come to the conclusion that human beings are born with an innate capacity to triumph over trauma. I believe not only that trauma is curable, but that the healing process can be a catalyst for profound awakening—a portal opening to emotional and genuine spiritual transformation. I have little doubt that as individuals, families, communities, and even nations, we have the capacity to learn how to heal and prevent much of the damage done by trauma. In so doing, we will significantly increase our ability to achieve both our individual and collective dreams.”
