When I began seeing Nicole, I was desperate to feel better...
When I began seeing Nicole, I was desperate to feel better, but I also genuinely believed I might be too broken and too far along in life to fix myself. I had been in therapy since I was 8 or 9 years old. I’d done talk therapy consistently for years, and I had gotten really good at understanding why I was the way I was. I could explain my patterns. I could tell you where they came from. I could intellectualize pretty much anything. But I couldn’t actually make myself feel any better. I grew up in a dysfunctional home, had been through an abusive relationship, and had learned how to look very “okay” from the outside. I was successful professionally. I was functioning. I was doing all the things I was supposed to be doing. But internally, I hated myself. By the time I found Nicole, I was also having panic attacks almost every week. My physical health was a mess. I was dealing with chronic pain, inflammation, and what felt like a body that was constantly getting sick or sounding an alarm.
I decided to try IFS and somatic therapy with Nicole, and over the next couple of years, my life completely changed. And I don’t mean in the way I had experienced before, where I’d feel okay for a couple of months and then eventually find myself right back in the same place, hating myself again. Something actually shifted. Little by little. For the first time in my life, I started noticing that when something hard happened, I wasn’t automatically dropping back into that same baseline depression and deep self-hatred. I would respond differently. I would talk to myself differently. Things that used to completely derail me still hurt, but they didn’t take me down with them. I started becoming someone I actually liked. And even more importantly, someone I could take care of.
I attribute so much of that to the way Nicole works with me. She never tells me what to do, even when I practically beg her to. She is so accepting. So nurturing. So incredibly patient. And somewhere along the way, she taught me how to offer those same things to myself. I honestly owe so much of my life and health to her.
I had no idea how much my trauma was living in my body until I started working through it this way. Chronic pain doesn’t rule my life anymore, although I still have flares. My past doesn’t rule my life anymore, although it still tries to from time to time. I don’t spend every day trying to outrun myself, although sometimes it’s my first instinct to. My life is still complicated. I still have incredibly difficult family and relationship dynamics that I have to navigate, and therapy didn’t magically make those things disappear. What changed is the person meeting them.
Now I can meet dysfunction with boundaries instead of abandoning myself. I can have compassion for people without sacrificing myself for them. I can love people and still choose myself. I didn’t know that was possible when I had my first session with her. I’ve been seeing her for almost 3 years now, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. -
I've been working with Nicole for almost three years now...
"I've been working with Nicole for almost three years now and feel so grateful to have found her. She is a true partner in healing, gaining a better understanding of myself and "doing the work". The space she has created and continues to nurture has allowed me to show up authentically everytime we meet which sometimes feels messy and uncomfortable but she welcomes it, pushes me to dig deeper and has kept me engaged in my healing journey in a way that never makes our sessions feel like a chore. I know that a large part of my progress has been because I was finally ready to move towards healing but I don't know what I would have done without Nicole by my side along the way. Starting my work with her when I did was kismet."

Nicole is effortlessly intuitive and consistently meets me where I'm at each week. Her warmth makes hard sessions a little easier to navigate and it's been such a relief having her as my guide through it all. "

Nicole has been an anchor in my life for three years now on my healing journey from cptsd...
"Nicole has been an anchor in my life for three years now on my healing journey from cptsd. Nicole was the first person to truly see me, believe me and provide nourishment to my weary spirit. She has been the biggest reason my body has felt safe enough to process, grieve, integrate, play, speak up and be present with myself. Her wisdom and knowledge of the body, nervous system, trauma and our inherent ability to heal with the right conditions, is apparent in every session we’ve had. She is deeply attuned, present, and keeps it very real with no fluff. She challenges me in gentle ways and always holds a vision for my healing even when I’ve struggled to believe it as possible. If you’re looking for someone who can weave wisdom, and compassion into a therapeutic space that allows your body to feel safe and heal, Nicole is who’d I’d recommend to anyone. She will point you back to yourself reminding you that you’re whole, good and can trust yourself again. "

I was fortunate enough to find Nicole...
"I was fortunate enough to find Nicole, whose expertise and compassion have helped me immensely with my trauma recovery. From my very first session with Nicole, I felt welcomed and seen. She has created a non-judgemental environment where I feel safe enough to dive deep and share my experience. Through my work with Nicole I have been able to make big life changes that I had not thought were possible (let’s be real, changes that I was way too terrified to make). She has helped me understand and cope with my anxiety and depression in sustainable ways. I feel empowered by Nicole and the work that we do together! She is authentic, kind, and funny. I could not recommend her enough for the people who are ready to embark on the journey of self-discovery and healing!"
